Remember when the paperless office was a new concept, and fax machines were replacing telexes, and more sophisticated telecom systems were in vogue, and computers started revolutionising our working lives? I think we thought we would end up working less time as the speed of communication sped up so fast that more got done with less effort.

The speed of new technology coming on stream has never been faster. Let’s face it, the whole idea of new technology is to improve humanity in some way, shape or form. Sometimes I have to remind myself technology is an enabler as opposed to the final product in itself as one can easily get consumed into other world on their phones and computers and lose sight of the simple pleasures of life and livingness.

Technology used in the right way can really transform lives in a small or massive way.
